Because WHEN COMES THE CALL is such an unique exploration we have included one Reader's Review:
As a student of esoteric philosophy and metaphysics for over forty years, I was delighted, even amazed, by the subtle and not-so-subtle alchemy that this book manages to work upon the reader. Even given all the background I'd accumulated, "When Comes the Call" was not an easy read for me, in the sense of instantly understanding upfront what is being offered here. Yet, perhaps this is artful and deliberate, a small part of the wisdom of the Elders: Once we sense that this text is the truest we can ever hope to approximate using our conscious minds and words, those who *truly* seek Truth, understanding of the eternal enigma of why are we here, where we came from, what our destiny is, are quite simply forced to slow down from our fast-paced habits of "quick reads." This in and of itself encourages focused attention and intention--the intention to Know. Almost magically, the book seems to open itself and work on us, transforming us ever so gently, bit by bit, until (for me it took two readings) we emerge, incredibly, more at peace with ourselves and others, more loving of the "Father," more aware and committed to living out the rest of our lives, physically, mentally, and spiritually, in concert with who we truly are as the "Children" of this tale.
We've all heard that age-old question: if you had to live on a desert island and could take only one book with you, which one would it be. For me there's absolutely no question. It would be "When Comes the Call." It is one of those increasingly rare books that invites reading and rereading and rereading yet again as it continues to unfold itself, revealing soul-satisfying truths and Truth and somehow in the process altering the reader just as surely as an Initiation does.
So, gentle reader, be aware: To choose to have a meaningful encounter with this seemingly simple tale is to usher in a new octave in your life. Are you ready?
